Jour 1
On est monté dans le train 11:46 à Moscou. Ils font comme en France et appel cela jour 1 bienqu'à mon sens ça fait plutôt jour 0 mais ça ne fait rien. En montant dans notre wagon on trouvait une famille de cinq qui s'installaient Mamie dans sa (et le notre) compartiment du wagon-lits. Ils l’entraînaient qqpart et donc on a profité pour rangé nos affaires ; il y a un cache sous le siège en bas et une espace au dessous du couloir accessible depuis les lits du haut.
La mamie ne parlent évidement pas anglais mais il s'avère qu'elle garde qq connaissances de l'Angleterre même si ce n'est que Elizabéth la Reine habite le Buckingham Palace (prononcé BAH-kin-gham). Du fait qu'il soit tard on se couche pratiquement de suite. Les lits sont de loin les plus confortables qu'on a rencontré jusqu'à là et le mouvement du train le plus régulier ce qui tombe bien car on a encore 6 nuits à tirer !
Day 1
We got on the train at 11:46 in moscow last night. They count like the french and call it day one which often seems ridiculous to me however there we are: day 1. We got on and found a family of five installing their dear babushka in her (and our) compartment. They then took her off somewhere which allowed us the time to stash a few bags ; the lower bunks fold back to allow access to a locker beneath and there is space above the corridor accesible from the top bunks. Granny speaks very little english although it does transpire she has some knowledge of the UK, at least in as much as Elizabeth the Queen being resident at Buckingham Palace (pron. BAH-kin-gham). It being late we all went straight to bed. By far the comfiest of bunks so far and the smoothest of rides, good job since we've 6more nights to go !
